Casting Call: Next Food Network Star

Food Network is conducting a national talent search has begun for season five of The Next Food Network Star. Amateur and professional chefs are encouraged to apply. A three-minute audition tape describing why you should be the network’s new host should be submitted by the deadline date of October 31, 2008. Casting Call: Biggest Loser

NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” will host an 11-city search for contestants wanting to appear on season seven. For this edition, producers want pairs from family members and spouses to dating couples, co-workers and best friends. All candidates must be at least 18 years old and legal U.S. citizens. The closest audition cities for local hopefuls are Louisville and Chicago. (Other audition cities are Oklahoma City, New York City, Detroit, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, Charlotte, Miami, and Los Angeles.) Those auditioning in person must bring a non-returnable photo of themselves and their partner. The show’s producers guarantee the first 500 applicants in line will be seen in each casting city. The CW Network is casting for a new reality makeover show called Glam Me Up! where the transformation happens live. The show is looking outgoing females applicants who have overcome personal adversity or have an inspiring story to tell and who need a makeover. Applicants, along with a style buddy who also gets to appear on the show, must be 18 to 30 years old. Food Network’s new Bobby Flay series Grill It!, a spin-off of Throwdown with Bobby Flay, needs male and female master grillers to cook alongside Bobby. America’s Got Talent now casting

Casting for NBC’s America’s Got Talent begins immediately in 13 cities: Orlando, Nashville, Charlotte, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, New Orleans, Branson, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.

Producers are looking for specialty acts such as dance groups, opera singers, acrobats, impersonators, kids groups and more. Send an email with your city and talent in the subject line (ex. Evansville - fire jugglers) to agt3talent@gmail.com and include the following must-have information: name, phone numbers, description of talent, interesting facts about yourself, a photo, city you will audition in (one of the 13 above) and time slot you would like (between 9a and 6p) and you must include a video link or mp3 of you performing. Applicants without a video link will not be considered.
