Fox7 fined $13,000

Friday, October 5th, 2007

WTVW is facing a fine of $13,000 for 25 admitted violations of kids TV ad limitations, according to Broadcasting & Cable. In addition to fleeting glimpses of Janet Jackson’s naughty bits, the FCC takes children’s tv commercial limits quite seriously. Chances are that there is no getting out of the punishment. Of course, this makes on wonder who tattled. Did the station rat itself out to avoid a larger fine?

WTVW is owned by Nexstar Broadcasting.
